Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mother. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was an infant. She was in 1997 when she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him during an acting workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk announced to the fans the joyous information that she was pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple in the year 2013. Entertainment Television.
