Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor. Alison Wright is a British actress. She also acted as Bette & Joan & Hollywood in Ryan Murphy's limited-run series Feud. Wright was born on 12 July 1976 at Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and was raised by her adoptive parents. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She went to classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group, both in New York City. She was a waitress as she auditioned for roles. Her great passion, scuba and diving, put her in a deep coma when, while scubadiving at sea, she experienced an heart attack. Six days later she died in peace, and her family by the bedside.
